Back to Blogging - Spring in Review

I obviously took a short absence from blogging since my last post was in late March. This pregnancy hit me pretty hard. I was lucky enough to not have any actual sickness, but my nausea in the late afternoons and evenings was rough, and I was hit hard with the exhaustion. After working all day then coming home to a very active 3 year old, I was asleep on the couch many nights around 6:30 or so. School ended for me last Friday, and I have been feeling better, so hopefully I can get back on here regularly.

We were very lucky this spring with some nice weather, so Evan had a blast playing outside. In fact, he could have played outside 24-7 if we let him. His favorite place to go is our neighborhood park. Finally, this year he has overcome his fears of the slides and swings. He runs up and down the equipment nearly fearless.





Evan has also taken an interest in playing baseball. I have to admit, he's pretty good! A few times he almost hit the ball over the fence and into our neighbor's yard. He's already excited he can play t-ball next summer.

Evan also went through the rite of passage like most little boys and received a bubble mower as a belated Easter gift. This was his first time playing with it.
