Christmas in Chicago - Part 1

Resuming from where I last left off, we headed back home from Effingham after Christmas brunch. We had a very nice trip back - little traffic, no weather conditions to worry about, and Evan slept the whole way back. Once we got home, we unloaded the car, relaxed for a brief moment, then headed to my parents' house for dinner. Alexis and Curtis were also in town for the week, so we were very happy to see them. We opened more gifts, ate a delicious dinner, and then we put Evan to sleep in the pack and play so we could continue our annual tradition of a very competitive game night. Around 1 am we brought home a very sleepy boy and finally prepared our own house for Santa's arrival the next morning (he came to our house Dec 26th this year - how nice of him!).

Relaxing with the Tickle Me Elmo doll I received as a gift in high school - glad we saved it!
